Emblation Announces Strategic Partnership with DermLite to Assist Diagnosis and Documentation of Skin Conditions Treated by Swift Technology

Enhanced dermoscopy access now available for clinicians who are using the Swiftscope app.

Emblation, the company behind the innovative Swift® microwave therapy system, has announced a collaboration with DermLite, a global leader in dermatoscope technology. DermLite’s industry-leading dermatoscope – the DL1, will now be available via the Swift store, providing podiatrists with seamless access to advanced diagnostic tools that enhance both clinical decision-making and patient education.

Dermoscopy has long been an essential tool in dermatology and is rapidly gaining traction in other specialties, including podiatry. By enabling close examination of skin lesions, dermatoscopes provide enhanced visualization that helps clinicians distinguish between different conditions and track treatment progress with greater confidence.

“Emblation has recently introduced Swiftscope™, a lesion tracking app designed specifically for SwiftPro® users. Swiftscope integrates digital dermoscopy and smartphone technology to support comparative imaging, establish visual baselines, and monitor treatment progress over time,” said Ian Stevens, CEO of Emblation.

“The partnership with DermLite reflects our shared commitment to equipping healthcare professionals with practical, high-quality tools that improve outcomes and elevate the patient experience.”

Stevens added: “By combining DermLite’s dedication to diagnostic excellence with Emblation’s commitment to innovation we hope to expand access to dermoscopy and support clinicians’ commitment to improving standards of care.”
