Emblation have been shortlisted for this award for the development of Emblation’s advanced FEA (finite element analysis) computational modelling, which was developed in order to accurately determining safe, and effective treatment protocols, when using Emblation’s microwave devices. The FEA computational couples a number of fields of physics including microwave energy, thermal conduction and convection, fluid dynamics and material science to allow the company to readily identify protocol suitability through accurate calculations of the thermal impact of the microwave treatment. The model is crucial for determining safe and effective energy doses that can be used in a number of fields of medicine.

The winners will be announced during the live virtual ceremony on Thursday 19th November – to register to the event, click here
